We at Eldon Ingram AutoPro are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles and a strong commitment to providing high-quality service alongside a team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Duties
Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks as assigned.
Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts and identify if additional safety or service work is required.
Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Facilitating clear and thorough communication of vehicle inspections to service advisors.
Modeling best practices and offering mentoring opportunities to apprentices.
Skills / Qualifications
Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools specific to automotive repair.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Knowledge of vehicle systems and technical/mechanical repairs.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform safety inspection and sign safety certifications.
Excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic.
Valid Automotive Service Technician Certification of Qualification (Class A)
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in the field
